I’m Bec, a Sydney-based civil marriage celebrant, who loves the art of storytelling. I craft customised ceremonies to ensure memorable moments on your special day.
My belief is that the ceremony should be an extension of you, with my role to bring your story to life. Together, we will celebrate what makes you unique and create a beautiful, personalised ceremony.
When I meet couples for the first time, we start with a blank page, a broad mind, and an open heart. With pen to paper, lots of questions and quite a few laughs, the ceremony begins to take shape. Every ceremony is different, because every relationship is wonderfully unique.
I hold ceremonies in Sydney, the Central Coast and the Hunter Valley and yes, I am most certainly open to elopements and destination weddings. Whether it's an intimate setting you're looking for or something quite grand, reach out and let's see if I'm a fit for you.

I became a celebrant for my love of ceremony and to use my skills and experience to serve the community, meeting couples from diverse backgrounds.
After 20 years of building brands and $100 million dollar businesses, my focus shifted to giving back and how I could drive greater impact and good.
I still help build businesses, however, I believe we can do it meaningfully – it’s not just about the bottom line, businesses are purpose-driven with impact far and wide on society, the environment, community and economy.
I donate 5% of my yearly profit to charitable causes. Currently, these include Beyond Blue, Foodbank and the Gidget Foundation.
I am also a proud supporter of marriage equality.

About Bec
I’m a wife to my best friend Pete (we've been together for 20 years) and a mum to two young, vibrant and strong-willed daughters.
I’m also a CEO & founder of an advisory practise, working in digital & technology businesses my entire career.
Pete wanted to be a Stay-at-Home dad to our girls and he does a brilliant job ensuring we have a thriving household and things run “relatively” smoothly while I marry people and manage our businesses.
My role as a celebrant uses my professional expertise (think highly intuitive, super organised and can hold a space) to create ceremonies that you, your family and friends will remember forever.
Following Pete and I’s beautiful wedding ceremony in 2009, I realised how important ceremony was to me.
Back then, only a small percentage of marriages were conducted by Civil Marriage Celebrants and now this has risen to over 75% in Australia.
I’m also a media commentator, charity board director, industry judge and speaker on topics of business, leadership, diversity and fertility.
I love Cherry Blossoms, a good strong cup of tea (lots of full fat milk and 1 sugar), running and yoga (albeit I’m pretty average at it).
Thankfully Pete used to be a Chef, as I’m a terrible cook. I have an abundance mindset and a small obsession with collecting boxes.
